Notes
- Federal Reserve raised the overnight federal funds target by 25bps to 3.75-4.00%. Although Fed Chair Warsh explained the rationale as inflation that has been too high for too long, the move was ultimately decided by the market that had already heavily priced in the hike.
- Crypto surged this week despite the Fed action. Bitcoin has followed a “Power Law” that indicates that the low of around $64K is a local low and that the 4-year bull cycle is underway.
